I was a bit surprised that there was more than one choice in this one. It was nice because, for such a brief experience, I liked having the option. The endings were particularly unsettling to me, and very different from how they could’ve ended, which was nice. Artsy-style endings rather than cliched end screens are always welcome. Short and sweet.
I liked the start, everything was calm and nothing happened. I liked the simple tasks that I had to do like fixing the horn, going to sleep and such. The idea that someone else was in the lighthouse was unsettling which was really nice. But I did expect more "horror". It was not really scary. Also that one "jumpscare" in that underground made me give less stars because it's really unneccesary and the animation looks goofy :/
Cool ideas but could've been way better. Keep it coming, though!

wow what can I say this was awful. Just short dumb and a waste of time nothing good here at all. I hope not all your games are this bad because I would rethink what I doing with my life if they are.

My hobby is making short ps1-styled games, and your hobby is being angry at small indie game developers! This game was pretty interesting. I liked the jumpscare and I liked the atmosphere a lot. I REALLY liked the pixelated style. I don't know exactly what was going on but I honestly liked that too. Good game for sure :) I made a video if anyone is interested:
Incidentally, I find it fascinating how many indies on itch do cool stuff with the horror genre in particular, it seems to be most of what is on the itch.io platform. I am not sure why, exactly, but maybe horror is a good category for indie devs just like it is for indie filmmakers?
The atmosphere and pixelated art-style was great! The game was overall very scary, and I loved that I was faced with the option to just leave!
I do however think I encountered a bug, as I was caught without him even being near me. And I would like for the camera to automatically focus down the dark hallway when the cutscene begins, as I was left watching the ground haha.
Thanks for making this game Such_Nick! I enjoyed the graphics and the sounds, although for a horror game it didn´t scare me or had any effect whatsoever regarding that. I didn´t feel the ambiance and the spooks with this one. I do believe that being alone in an lighthouse is a great idea for a horror game, polish it and you could have an amazing horror game full of jumspcares.

Too short to build suspense but I liked the mechanics with the foghorn valve and the sounds are well chosen.
