thanks for the feedback, and yeah the game's way too short, I was more trying to test what I can do with the atmosphere of a Lighthouse island setting, but I appreciate the criticism and will try to fix these issues in my next project.
This game was pretty interesting. I liked the jumpscare and I liked the atmosphere a lot. I REALLY liked the pixelated style. I don't know exactly what was going on but I honestly liked that too. Good game for sure :) I made a video if anyone is interested:
Incidentally, I find it fascinating how many indies on itch do cool stuff with the horror genre in particular, it seems to be most of what is on the itch.io platform. I am not sure why, exactly, but maybe horror is a good category for indie devs just like it is for indie filmmakers?
The atmosphere and pixelated art-style was great! The game was overall very scary, and I loved that I was faced with the option to just leave!
I do however think I encountered a bug, as I was caught without him even being near me. And I would like for the camera to automatically focus down the dark hallway when the cutscene begins, as I was left watching the ground haha.

I didn´t feel the ambiance and the spooks with this one. I do believe that being alone in an lighthouse is a great idea for a horror game, polish it and you could have an amazing horror game full of jumspcares.

I really Liked the game!

Too short to build suspense but I liked the mechanics with the foghorn valve and the sounds are well chosen.

Fun game :).
The game has a nice atmosphere to it and the option to "choose your ending" is nice. It's just a bit short is all. Otherwise, not a bad game.
